Gar and his Shadow

On the other hand of the picture (Bys on Gyr) Gar has his own loyal creature that lives in his shadow.
Back when Bys and Gar were still friends, they were staying in the residence of this village who through generations had the companionship of these shadow creatures. But then the Atiirian army showed up, and made waste to this village, and stealing these shadow creatures from their hosts. Then when Gar came to face his treasonous uncle, the current ruler of the Atiirians, he took his uncles own sword, The Blade Bane, and killed him in cold blood, claiming his uncle's stolen shadow creature for himself.
